ARTS PDF Stamper 3.0 Now Gives Mac Users Unprecedented Control and Flexibility

Melbourne, Australia — August 4, 2004

ARTS PDF, the leading developer of PDF tools for PDF professionals, today announced the Mac release of its new Adobe® Acrobat® plug-in for applying text, image and PDF stamps to large PDF document collections. ARTS PDF Stamper 3.0 lets users insert text, dynamic text, numbering, watermarks and stamps to PDFs with unprecedented control and flexibility.

“The brand-new Mac version comes with all the features the Windows version has, making it the most flexible and feature-packed stamping tool for Mac users,” said Vasseenee Maunthrooa, Product Manager, ARTS PDF. “And in addition, available immediately is the fully featured, fully compatible ARTS PDF Publish Suite 1.0 for Mac.”

ARTS PDF Stamper 3.0 automates the task of making last minute updates to PDF documents, such as adding bates numbering, dates, headers, footers and watermarks, as well as replacing or masking old graphics and logos with new ones. The latest features enable users to preview and undo stamps; sequence and combine stamping tasks with other tasks in batch mode; and apply navigation-, form field- and JavaScript-related actions. While the extensive, predefined stamp sets help users get started and help them get the job done much quicker.

“By integrating ARTS PDF Stamper into the Adobe® Acrobat® batch processing engine, users can streamline their publishing processes greatly by sequencing stamping tasks with other tasks or commands,” said Maunthrooa. Owners of other ARTS PDF publishing tools (all those included in the ARTS PDF Publish Suite) benefit even further now as they can combine stamping tasks with others such as splitting, merging, bookmarking, linking and link auditing.

The user interface makes it easy to copy and reuse stamps between stamp profiles. Users can create the precise stamp needed, with options such as overlay/underlay, rotation, position, opacity, size, color and font type, and then copy and paste it into multiple stamp profiles. The preview pane feature lets them quickly see exactly how stamps are positioned prior to processing, while the undo feature lets users remove stamps after they have been added.
