Benubird PDF is regularly updated with new features, bug fixes and general enhancements. Here you can check to see if you're using the latest version.
Benubird PDF 1.4.0.1
The latest version of Benubird PDF is now totally free. Updates include:
- Watched folder support for relocated repositories.
- Numerous minor bug fixes.

Benubird Pro 1.3.1.3
The latest version of Benubird Pro includes new bug fixes and usability improvements. Updates include:
- The location of the file repository can now be manually changed by the user.
- Numerous minor bug fixes.
Benubird Pro 1.3.1.2
The latest version of Benubird Pro includes new bug fixes and usability improvements. Updates include:
- Metadata in PDF files is now extracted added to Benubird Pro's database when PDF files are imported.
- Number bug fixes (sorting tags alphbetically, applying tags to multiple files, adding tags to files in watched folders and more).
Benubird Pro 1.2.1.11
The latest version of Benubird Pro includes new features, numerous bug fixes and usability improvements. Updates include:
- Convert any file that can be printed to PDF from within Benubird Pro by right-clicking on it and selecting 'Convert to PDF'.
- Convert any file that can be printed to PDF and add it to Benubird Pro automatically in Windows Explorer by right-clicking on it and selecting 'Add to Benubird Pro as PDF'.
- Use the 'Add to Benubird Pro as PDF' printer driver to create PDFs from any windows application that supports printing.
- Add, edit or remove properties from PDF files effortlessly. Edit the Title, Author, Subject and Keywords property fields of PDFs.
- All files added to Benubird Pro are now automatically added to a file repository. This protects files from being accidentally moved or deleted.
- Files that are opened from Benubird Pro are moved from the file repository to the workspace. This ensures that when you edit a file you have a chance to wind back the changes by choosing not to re-commit the file to the file repository.
- When exporting fiels from Benubird Pro or opening files in the workspace the metadata associated with that file in Benubird Pro is written directly to the file (if that file type supports metadata).

The latest version of Benubird Pro includes new features, numerous bug fixes and usability improvements. Updates include:
- You can now create sub-collections if you wish to use a hierarchy structure to organize files.
- Extract and import the contents of ZIP files directly into Benubird Pro.
- Drag and drop folders of files into the file list from Windows Explorer.
- Auto-generate a documents Title based on the documents filename.
- Auto-generate a documents Author based on the username of the active user in Windows.
- Auto-generate a documents Subject based on the name of the containing folder from which the document was added.
- Auto-generate a documents Tags based on the folder hierarchy of the path from where the document was added.
- Watched folders are now independent of the main application. The Benubird Assistant runs silently in the background waiting for new files to be placed in watched folders.
