Karl De Abrew

Karl De Abrew is Debenu's CEO, along with being a seasoned speaker, moderator, industry commentator, software developer, entrepreneur and a driving force in the early days of the PDF industry.

Back in 90's, when PDF was still in its infancy, Karl founded ARTS PDF, a major plug-in developer for Adobe Acrobat, as well as Planet PDF, the number #1 news and forum website for PDF, and was at the forefront of popularizing the use an adoption of PDF technology.

After leaving Nitro PDF Software (formerly BinaryThing) as CEO in 2007, a company that he had founded 10 years earlier in 1997, Karl founded Debenu, a new company in the PDF and document management space with the goal of making working with documents much easier.
