Karl De Abrew is Debenu's CEO, along with being
a seasoned speaker, moderator, industry
commentator and columnist for a variety of
publications including Adobe's website and
Planet PDF.
Karl is also the founder and former CEO of
Nitro PDF Software (previously known as
BinaryThing).
After starting Nitro PDF Software in 1997, his
leadership saw the company:
- Launch Nitro PDF Professional (www.nitropdf.com),
the first true alternative to
Adobe® Acrobat®;
- Build ARTS PDF (www.artspdf.com)
into one of the world's leading PDF
software developers;
- Develop Planet PDF (www.planetpdf.com)
into the most popular website for the
PDF community while its sister site PDF
Store (www.pdfstore.com)
became the premier location for
independent PDF software and Adobe
Acrobat plug-ins.
Karl is currently completing a Masters of
Information Systems at Monash University.
