ARTS Releases New Tool To Route And Save PDF/FDF Form Data

Melbourne, Australia — June 30, 2003

ARTS PDF, the popular Adobe® Acrobat® third-party developer, has announced the release of its new tool for routing and saving PDF/FDF form data. ARTS PDF Form Manager requires no programming or scripting, making it simple to setup a form routing solution across a network or the Web. ARTS PDF Form Manager can forward submitted forms to an email addresses or folder, either fixed or configured dynamically from within the form. Ideal for use on a desktop or server within a small to medium-sized business or workgroup.

“I wouldn’t be lying if I said that ARTS has seen an ever-growing need for a simple solution for routing and saving form data,” said Maryanne Montes, Product Manager, ARTS. “To date the only real option was to have highly technical people on hand, ones that could write scripts and program. The introduction of ARTS PDF Form Manager means users can have a form data delivery system up and running in no time — without programming and without special scripts.”

Acrobat® and Acrobat® Reader users can both use ARTS PDF Form Manager equally well. Set an address for all submitted form data to be emailed to or use a form field to deliver dynamically. By using a customizable template, users can format the email look and feel, displaying the form data in a specific way.

It can also be configured to automatically backup and save submitted form data locally or on a server. When combined with ARTS FDF Import, forms users can quickly build a flexible form solution that will route, save and import the data into a database.

ARTS PDF Form Manager uses a number of different HTML templates that can be modified to suit specific needs. Users can incorporate style sheets, text and custom formatting, and use redirectors and links to integrate ARTS PDF Form Manager seamlessly into a form workflow.
